Fun but simple game.
Once you've beaten it it's fun to blast through quickly and there's even a small speedrunning scene.
Definitely NES hard difficulty.

Really awesome NES indie/homebrew game!
The 4 levels have variety and are fun to learn, beat and try to do quicker.
The game is fair and forces you to learn some strats to get past each section safely, OG-style.
When you get 10 health packs, you get a free man and there's also free men and checkpoints that are located at convenient spots. The checkpoints are not too frequent though, so make sure to learn the game slowly before trying to run through the levels.
And don't forget to switch to the Super Ammo at certain difficult spots and against the bosses.
Again, really cool game, highly recommend.
