Added this to my cardio workout routine: Beat Saber, Pistol Whip, Space Pirate, Stride, and now this game! Pros -Good workout if you put in the effort -Makes you feel like a Chinese martial art god -Enemies are challenging and death is not very forgiving -Your guide responds to inappropriate contact lol, nice detail! -Sword sound effects and haptic feedback Con (Not much else needed.I like the fact the game sticks to simplicity with details) -The jump is more of a dodge button. Would prefer to dodge in real life and have the jump button to defy gravity for a short time, like in old school Chinese martial arts movies. - A nice compromise would be short press = dodge, while long press = gravity defying -More destructible objects. (I'm not that far in the game so maybe this comes later) -Give us art work and narrated story of actual Chinese legends/stories so that we learn more about the actual culture -Levels look big but most of the square footage is not accessible so you can end up backing yourself into invincible walls unsuspectingly Over all this is a nice game to help you get motivated to work out. Simple but effective and attention to details.

Good game. Of course that one would always like to have even more crazy stuff if possible, but the fundamentals are here and the execution is okayish. A bit of polish wouldn't hurt, but it's a solid game and the time I plan to spend in it will surely pay off the investment. Here are my nitpicks in case a dev is reading this: - a bit buggy when the sword gets stuck in the enemies. Wouldn't hurt to make that more intuitive. - The translation to Spanish is pretty bad, and since I did the tutorial in Spanish, I still don't entirely understand the parry mechanic in which the black slashes appear on the enemies. Seems to trigger kind of randomly. - Also, I'm guessing the chinese (it's chinese... right?) words during the black slashes are saying in which direction to slash, but it's hard to guess since I'm not a chinese speaker. So I often end up doing it in the opposite direction. It wouldn't hurt to add a visual cue to say in which direction to slash. - The more basic enemies feel a bit dull. I mean, they're supposed to be basic, but they might be too basic and slow. - Why are shurikens white? The overall whitey tones of the game make shurikens hard to see Okay... but hear me out. Time slowing mechanics, and the jumps transform into dashes that can be used in all directions. After doing 5, 10 dashes time runs out and damage is done. Let us be the storm that is approaching, I beg you.
