Such a fun game and the environments are beautiful! Plus it’s super therapeutic! I’ve noticed I’m always in a better mood after a gaming sesh! Highly recommended

Played this on Quest 2 through Steam link and it constantly crashed, even with graphics setting on medium. I run Half Life Alyx the same way on full graphics and have no issues whatsoever...and this game is no where near as good as that. Game-play sluggish and overall disappointing. Every time I died the game would freeze and crash (don't have this issue with any other game).
I know this is a "remake" so maybe I should try part 2??

ASR is a great game! It has it's bugs but in my opinion as someone very new to VR this game has a lot to offer!
The shooting is very fun! The game explains in the beginning that it's best to shoot whatever Freddys are closest to you and that will get you through most of the game! Headshots and just kill the nearest undead! The only exceptions I will note is the super infected (my name for them) require more shots just like the larger Freddys do so keep that in mind you always want to take these out quickly! The other thing is watch for runners because those will skip the line and come right for you!
The shooting works well but I had to play on easy since I'm new to VR shooters and that is the only way you get a laser sight! I highly recommend it if you just want a fun time where you just have to see the red dot on a Freddy's head to know you're going to hit your mark every single time.
I love how much there is to interact with even if most objects don't do much. I really enjoyed changing my headgear as I explored (I'm partial to the spooky masks)and the small but decent selection of guns you can find. I recommend the revolver as your main side arm for basically the whole game. I also like eating hot dogs and burgers to restore health!
To address the glitch with the game losing one of your hands (I play on a Quest 3) I found the easiest way to fix it is to simply redo your boundary in your quick settings for your headset and make sure both hand controllers are visible when you do. This should fix it. It can also help to click on the back to game button with the hand that glitched. Aside from that issue I had to resolve after loading into new areas mostly this game is a great time and an easy 8/10. I didn't even explore the multiplayer feature so it probably gets even better! The DLC is fun but short!

First completed VR game. Now doing the DLC. Took some getting used to because it was my first VR experience that didn't make me feel really sick as long as i tweeked the movement. Really fun and good immersion.

Pretty good, the writing is cheesy and the jokes the protag makes are corny as hell but it's still good zombie killing fun.
It's probably loads more fun with a buddy but the game is pretty dead for looking for a co-op partner lol

This is a great boost of additional content if you discovered Arizona Sunshine on the second iteration, like me. a full campaign along with 2 DLC campaigns of mid to short lengths, and some new guns that are amazing (i am looking at you combat shotgun). The satisfaction of a solid machete or axe impact with Freds Head... ahh yes. The banter is less playful in this one as it was in the second game but still amusing at times.
If you enjoy a good zombie annihilation game, get on this one. You will enjoy it!
A relatively short, but fun adventure!
Arizona Sunshine is a Zombie survival game. The graphics are pretty good, stylized enviornments. It's also linear which is fine, as sometimes open-world can be a bit excessive in VR. I find the game performs fairly well on lower mid-range hardware and is also a good time with another player. The campaign is fairly solid, and the adventure was worth the trip!
Pros

Good stylized graphics

A decent, simple story

Good Gun Play

Co-Op 2-Player action

Pretty well made

Smacking Zombies with melee is pretty satisfying

VR characters do track arms so you can hug your friend.

The Campaign is linear, which works well enough for a VR Game.

Cons

Short ~5-6 hour campaign

Zombie hordes are sometimes overwhelming

Campaign is only up to 2 players (so you can't have a full party)

Melee weapons do break, which there are time you wish you had them

The campaign is quite linear, which doesn't offer much replay value.
All in all, This is a good, but short experience. If you are looking for a good two-player experience that won't eat up much of your time, then you can't really go wrong with this. If you want something much longer and grand, keep looking! The linearity of the campaign is both a pro and con for reasons described above. Give it a shot. You never know, You may have lots of fun with it regardless of shortcomings!
I give this a solid 7.5/10. Very good with a few annoyances.
