After an hour of play and feeling like I've gotten nowhere, I'm just going to wait until this is out of Early Access before I start again. The graphics are good, with a lot of detail in the characters and environments. The music is alright, as well as the sound effects. The map design is alright, but there's a pretty severe lack of direction as to what you really ought to be doing at any given time. So I spent almost the majority of my playtime trying to figure out where to go. I'd get there, do something like a sword so I could move out of the very starting area - only to be stuck shortly after because I can't figure out what exactly I need to do. I guess I should say I have a pretty solid idea of what I'm supposed to do. I just have no idea of where to go to find the things I need. And after running around in circles for the 5th time and making no ground in that way I've hit a stopping point. It's probably good enough for those of you less dense than I to jump into, but now's not the right time for me.
