An RPG which heavily references where the genre came from, this is pretty old-school but it has a lot of charm! There are plenty of hidden secrets to find which make further playthroughs interesting to try. All the character and enemy designs are wonderful, and it's a joy to wander and work your way towards the final goal!. This is a lovely game to see the sorts of quality of life interaction that modern games have, by seeing a more user-friendly version of what it feels like when they're missing. Older games were much worse for that, and this pays homage to what we evolved from.
Took about 8 hours on first playthough and 3 on a subsequent one, there's plenty of replayability here, especially with the randomizer mode! A charming little romp through a world full of dragons!
