This is one of those games I play for three days straight, forget for a few months, then come back and play it again. Emotional and lovely. Would recommend to any nature lover.

I feel it’s my duty to leave this here.  Shelter 2 is that timeless game. I discovered it 7 years ago, and I vividly remember playing it on an old computer that could barely run it, but my love for it was stronger.  Lynxes have held a special place in my heart since childhood and mean so much to me to this day, which is why I’m not surprised that a game that has accompanied me on such a journey is about them.  I picked it up during the winter sale of 2024, but I could never find the right moment to play it again, and now, just before its 10th anniversary, I finally got around to it.  No matter how much I play it, it always leaves the warmest impression.  It’s about a world as it is—sometimes cruel, merciless, unbearable, yet beautiful.  It’s about love, family, and the ever-changing nature.  In my life, stories about animals like this are the most cherished. They are what they are, and they are the kind of stories that are lovely to return to as you age, discovering them from a new perspective.
