I don't have time to write a proper review because the fun never ends with this game.

Great game with only one minus - there are no new DLCs for a long time. This game really needs updates! Amplitude, please make a new addon! There are many ideas, for example: major turret module, sniper hero who can shot from one room to other in sight e.t.c. I tried most of the content and I want more! There are DLC's for ES2, EL, the first game in non-endless universe, but there are no updates for this unique game.

1st level - A 5 room beeline to the exit which is surrounded by 5 unpowered rooms. Well played. 6th level - Final door next to exit releases 5 times the number of pain. Joy ! Its a game for folks who loves the sudden surprise of getting your ass handed over when everything is going so well, just that there will only be the New Game button to console youself. Random is Life.

This is one of my favorite roguelike games. Balance here could seem to be very wrong due to game complexity, but believe me, it's perfect and one of the best one. All you need is skill and patience to explore game features and lurn new tricks.

I never knew how much I enjoyed this game until I realized how excited I got whenever they released new characters or pods to the game. I even ended buying a couple of the company's other games just for the small addons they offered. That being said, those addons are by no means p2w, just extras that I feel were pretty balanced compared to the rest of the game. Anyways, for 8 bucks you should get this game for you and a friend while you're at it. Trust me. RPG, Tower Defense, Resource management, Different Game settings, good variety of characters, rogue-like, AND multiplayer. Get it.

There is No End to the Hours of fun available in this simple to learn game. Each play through is it's own storyline experience.

A surprisingly good, addictive, fast-paced game. Your heroes get to explore, pillage and escape from several floors of a dungeon. You will have to manage several resources in order to promote your heroes, keep them healed, help them in combat with various installations you build, and most importantly, keep as much of the dungeon powered and lighted as possible. Because in darkness, there be monsters. There will always be monsters, scores of them, and you will succumb inevitably. The game is very challenging and tough to learn, as Amplitude once again demonstrates its belief that nothing will teach people play easier than losing a few quick games... So, be prepared to lose. And choose the difficulty described as "too easy". The replayability factor is massive, thanks to a wide range of heroes, randomly generated floors and events, and multiple-choice starting conditions. You can easily sink 50 hrs into this game and still not beat all the possible goals, nor try all the possible combinations of heores/skills/research. Given the price tag, that is absolutely fantastic. Go on, give it a shot. The "pixel"-graphic looks odd on pics, but the game feels great, the interface is user-friendly and normal hi-res, and the atmosphere brilliantly immitates the unforgiving games from two decades ago - and it well suits the difficulty. It's always fun to play, but hard to beat. Amplitude have convinced me they are one of the absolutely best studios out there. Endless Space was good, Endless Legend totally awesome, and this something totally different, yet original and fun. What a team. On a side note, as a Mac user, we could use some love, for example with the info about how to power up a room without the middle button of the mouse. Strange that one has to look it up on the internet, rather than read in the tutorial.
