I love this expansion, it was my first one board expansion I bought for the 4th edition physical copy and I believe it was my first or close to digitally as well. This expansion adds a new corner piece game board, a bunch of new cards, items, characters and new ending.

It is my third favorite expansion with Reaper, and Cataclysm being first. It is a good starter expansion and adds a bunch of good items areas and monsters.

There's some good stuff here, but why in the name of all that is holy, in this day and age, is there a character named after an ethnic slur? The "g*psy" character is just a fortune teller – call her that.

Possibly the best expansion. Full of enemies and weapons and traps. A 12/12 boss at the end gives you some of the most powerful rewards in the game.

People complain about AI for this dlc, but i don't play with AI, so i'll rate it for situation when you have 5 friends to play with, you might call it unrealistic scenario, but some of us do run into that problem.
Anyway, great DLC, I like it, next to The City and The Reaper expansion it's probably 2nd or 3rd expansion to buy, the much needed space added by dungeons makes main board less messy with all the cards that the game can vomit at you after 42 turns of your friends just trying to kill ONE (1) enemy. Same can be said for dungeon board but i think it's made well enough, so you won't encounter the problem of the board being filled up there unless you will really try to.
Cards are solid, payoff is worth it i think. Cool characters to play and lose friendships over. I still want back my 5 dollars Robert.

This expansion, one of the "4 corners", adds a whole new area with tougher cards and a whole new side-adventure. Lots of fun.
As with almost all of the expansion DLCs, you can try before you buy - there's one that can be played for free every week, and it changes every Monday. Or, you can keep setting your computer clock ahead a week until you find the one you want to play.

The Dungeon does add another level of complexity to the game and is most enjoyable.
But...
The Dungeon also adds a preponderance of new bugs to the existing board so be warned as they are very significant.

I've been having fun with the basic board game, and bought this expansion based on it adding more stuff to do. I have yet to play it, but finally got it working. so looking forward to testing it out.
there is a button you have to press so you can turn off the expansion if you want to run just the basic game.

Adds a whole new area to the main board with a seperate deck for an alternative route to power, make sure your well equiped for the dungeon as its full of strong new monsters, but the rewards are worth it!. New heroes and a ton of new cards make this expansion worth while and the best yet.
