Personally me and my friend had a blast together. The difficulty scales quickly and exponentially per level, but it's a good challenge and encourages upgrades as do many other roguelikes. I definitely recommend a friend for this experience as it helps that you can cover each other with a flamethrower in case of swarms. Still getting updates and ran well enough for me on a 3060ti and ryzen 5600x. I think the mech was a little clunky to drive, and POV somewhat limited to make the gameplay a bit more frantic. There are bullet sponge bosses, and the enemies that burrow can be annoying, but overall I do recommend this game and am glad to support a dev that tries to make a quality VR game.

The visuals first got me interested, and the idea of sitting in a mech is awesome.
But the movement and buttons are just sucks ass, I'm sitting in a chair that spins, why dfq I need to use my controllers to fukeng swipe like I'm sitting on a ipad app AND AIM, AND THERES A HEAT FUNCTION, where you fire for 5 seconds and you already overheated.
Not telling you about jump function that is a whole different lever that you need to pull, while aiming, while you cant fucking spin because you can't do every thing at once.
Sounds are really bad even when I put it on 40% my ears were still ringing of so much noise from everything.
Sad that I didn't played it when I bought it, would've returned this game in a second.

I need more! Big Shots hits that sweet spot between chaotic action and strategic loadout planning. It's especially fun if you're jumping in with a friend. The co-op experience is hands-down one of the best parts of the game. Charging into waves of aliens, calling out targets, and the madness is stupid fun. The variety of weapons and the constant stream of upgrades make every run feel fresh and powerful. The game really shines when the screen fills with enemies and you're darting around, barely holding the line. It’s hectic in the best way.
That said, there are a couple things I’d love to see improved. Enemy diversity could use a boost. After a while, you start seeing the same few types again and again. And the Mud Muncher… woof. It burrows underground and takes forever to reappear, which really slows the pacing, especially when it’s the last straggler in a wave. Definitely a vibe killer when the rest of the game is so fast and furious.
Still, Big Shots has a ton of potential, and what’s already there is a blast. I'm looking forward to more updates and seeing new maps and weapons and upgrades and enemies. If you’ve got a friend with a headset, this one’s a must-play.
