I played this game solo in Campaign mode and after I reached mission 4 I noticed the following: Game difficulty is not balanced. Even with easy & normal modes, the amount of enemies coming at you is insane. When enemies like the Creepers are 3 feet away from a team member, none of my squad members will shoot at it. Easy mode wasn't significantly less difficult than normal mode for reasons mentions above. Was looking for an enjoyable game similar to The Ascent but this game gave me more frustration than expected. Had developers reduce the amount of enemies and their spawn frequency in easy and normal mode, their game would have been more pleasant. I couldn't tell when - or if - the wave of enemies charging at me will ever end or pause: they just keep coming. If I wanted to play hard mode, I would have chosen the higher difficult level options provided. Not sure if I want to try The Red Solstice 2 now since I purchased the game as a bundle. Gaming is supposed to be fun but Developers usually ruined if with unbalanced game difficulty features. Why do they do this?
