Really neat take on the Geometry Wars "pacifist" mode. Leans into the mechanics in a neat way. Just wish it had online leaderboards!

Having been played Fireball released for Xbox Live Indie Game, I feel that this game becomes less frustrating and it has more appealing changes than the prequel. Fireball 2 introduces the health system instead of having one life and you can even charge into bomb panels to activate explosions manually. These changes allow a variety of choosing path to dodge/kill the swarm of enemies. Also, the nova has a gorgeous effect and the black hole, made by combining two novas close to each other, has a powerful and satisfying firepower as well as granting temporary invincibility. These two weapons are pretty strong but they requires you a strategy to keep repelling the enemy swarms. As the wave proceeds, it's really hard to make a single nova and that's why I really get into this game. This game has two main modes with two difficulties and harder ones are really challenging. If you feel you are good at it, the hardcore modes are worth trying.
