MVC2 with single button special attacks and many more features, if you miss the game this is a great collection to pick up.

As someone who played the original Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs Capcom 2 in their arcade machines during the late 2000's and early 2010's, I was very excited and crying literally tears of joy when they announced it during the Summer Nintendo Direct. Since then I been playing it non-stop after the game was released in September and bought the physical copy about a month later for the switch in case Capcom decided to place it back into their vault and never see the light of day ever again.
Been waiting for years for this game to come out and play the other games I wasn't able to play when they first released during the 90's. I usually never play it online against other players as it's something I would prefer playing offline, it's just me being a bit bias but that's just my preference. However, it is a fun collection for anyone who played in the arcade or in their original game consoles!

This collection is so important for a lot of different reasons, but overall you are getting the arcade versions of all the classic Marvel vs. Capcom games in one convenient package with excellent online features to boot. If you are an avid follower of fighting games or the greater FGC you already know how legendary these games are, and if you have never experienced them now is the time.

lots of official support and homage via art and music galleries that are a bit beyond other classic games

All arcade versions with no real game options, no infinite timer option in MvC2 as well meaning time out is too common due to the inadequate time given in that particular game which ruins matches. For most of the games this is fine but the console versions of MvC2 were superior to the arcade release and should have been ported instead of the crappy arcade version. Since it was primarily bought for MvC 2 I rather break out the old Dreamcast than play this
