basically an updated version of the first one. 10/10 they made it better

i played it without internet so any game time did not register took me about 7-9 hours i guess. beating it on veteran was quite hard but cod 2003 was worse and united offensive was horrible in comparison, still good story and nice gameplay quite enjoyable to today 9/10

This is by far my personal favorite Call of Duty! This was one of the first shooters I played when I was a little kid, I enjoyed this game throughout my entire life and I still do! I honestly love the soviet campaign, it is by far the best! Simple, describes the eastern front at its best and it brings back so many memories! The other campaigns are also amazing, I also check on the british campaign too, since there are unique moments and mechanics as well, like the tank campaign, the AA flak or the artillery missions. You can also add some mods to play custom campaigns like some german missions that are also a different experience and worth the try! A shame most COD games are always at full price in all these years and they should at least reduce the cost on the old ones, but if you wait for a sale, you can get this diamond! I highly recommend!

Best action, creation of some of the most iconic voice lines and character dialogue, felt very immersed, very well worth the dollar for memories of what cod used to be. Good things never last, bad things never die.

This is a step up from call of duty 1 and a huge improvement in every aspect, this is also a product of its time but also a game that can hold its own with cod 4 but thats the best i can give it, its held down by its time of release and can be buggy and boring, just like the first one there is really no characters you care about even price, without cod 4 and the cods after it captain price would just be a guy telling you what to do like he is in this game, but the problem with these early cod games is that they tried way to hard to be histroically accurate to the point where it took priority over being fun. But for its time its great 7-8/10 but by todays standards probably a 5-6/10' high B tier cod

Holds up surprisingly well. It's not gonna shatter your world or anything, but it's just a really solid game.

Game won't even run. Tries to set resolution to 600x800 then just unable to display anything. Don't buy it.

This game delivers a gripping and cinematic WWII experience that still holds up nearly two decades later. With improved visuals, smart squad AI, and sprawling, choice-driven missions across North Africa, Russia, and Europe, it builds meaningfully on the original. I feel like the gunplay feels tighter, and they removed the medkits in favor of regenerating health. The multiplayer, while basic by today’s standards, remains fun and fast-paced. They got balls trying to sell this 20 year old game for 20 USD. If it's on sale, get it because it really is one of those classics that doesn't age. Visually, sure, it didn't hold up. Gameplay, story, mission design and the feel of it? Might as well have released yesterday.
