Marsh is a lovely little game full of boss battles with platform-based combat and a bangin' soundtrack! While the controls and concept is simple, the execution offers something new with every boss to keep things fun and fresh. I was hooked enough to keep going into higher difficulties on the bosses and try for a good time in the new speedrun mode, which is unusual for me.
Full disclosure, this is not a style of game I usually play nor seek out, and I wouldn't have come across it if not for the dev hanging out in my chat and (politely) asking if I'd be interested in checking it out - but please take this as a positive! The developer is super cool and enthusiastic in sharing his game, and highly responsive/receptive. They pushed out a patch to fix a bug we found in the speedrun mode on stream within 15 minutes and listened when I suggested a particular attack indicator was confusing and difficult to parse! This is a game I was happy to pay for and is already well-worth the price, with a fair bit more play planned!
