This is very similar to Celesphonia but not quite as depraved... I think?
If you like this flavor of game and if you like some depravity, you'll probably enjoy this, BUT you have to get the patch otherwise this game sucks because it's really not a playable game without it. You can't adventure. Also, install the patch before you begin a game. INstalling it after you start causes errors.
The story is there: Gotta save a church due to evil landlord reasons and may mean getting a little "dirty". There's a time limit to get the job done, which can be turned off by the player or delayed via corrupting means. Either way, to save the church the MC can become an adventurer... or a dancer... or of ill repute...(lots of money though), or something else.
The flavors: depravity
The gaming/adventure aspect is interesting in that it's like a board game where you role a dice to determine where you land and then you get a random event based on the space you land on. If it's a battle scene it's kinda like final fantasy.
The writing is okay. It's what helps to carry the game because the images are stills although I felt like the writing could drag on, but maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it.
I won't say this game is the best ever, but it's similar to magical girl celesphonia and if you liked that game, you may enjoy this one.
