As a big fan of indie games and the adventure genre, I couldn't help but share my disappointment about "YOMAS". Maybe I had too high expectations, but the game completely disappointed me. Graphics and design The first thing that catches your eye is the graphics. It is extremely outdated and it seems as if the game was developed in the early 2000s. Even for an indie project, this is unacceptable. The animations of the characters and the environment also look terrible, which completely breaks the atmosphere. Gameplay The gameplay of "YOMAS" is just a torment. Controls respond poorly, the character moves clumsily, and the camera is constantly stuck in textures. The experience of the game becomes extremely unpleasant when you can't control the character properly. Plot The storyline of the game seems meaningless and incomprehensible. I couldn't understand what was going on at all, and why my actions made any sense. The dialogues of the characters sound ridiculous and unconvincing. Sound The soundtrack of "YOMAS" also leaves much to be desired. The music is boring, the sounds of the environment sound artificial, and there is no sense of involvement. Conclusion "YOMAS" is a game that is best avoided. Even if you're a fan of indie games, you won't have any fun playing it. The graphics are terrible, the gameplay is excruciating, the plot is meaningless, and the soundtrack leaves much to be desired. I feel like I wasted my money and regretted my purchase.
