I will defend this game until the day I die. I not only unironically love this game but I do genuinely consider it one of the top tier games in the series. I honestly consider it neck and neck with Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix (A.K.A the "Melee" of the KH series), I personally love it that much. Yes, the story is a complete mess (I honestly never expected it to be well-written since the KH story has really always boiled down to being a fanfic with a budget) but the gameplay? Still as solid as ever by my standards. The combat is still as satisfying as its always been in the numbered KH games (even with the physics being a bit more "floaty" than KH2's) and while I was just as disappointed as everyone else at the lower quantity of worlds compared to even KH1, the sheer amount of detail put into them and how surprisingly big most of them are more than made up for it, IMO. If you've never played KH3 before, THIS version is absolutely the one to go for because on top of it being very well optimized (a rarity with Square Enix PC ports from my experience), it's got tons of bells and whistles you still can't get on the console versions even when played on PS5/Xbox Series like 60fps cutscenes and native HDR support. And, of course, being an Unreal Engine game, there's the wide variety of mods available for this version to consider as well. If you have played KH3 before on console, I still recommend this port for all these same reasons.

They kept the gameplay and the vibes of the previous games, but modernized the graphic. It's a hack and slash and the plot got super complicated.... but I mean, how cool is it to kick asses with hercules, buzz lightyear and company?

An ending to the dark seeker saga, this game started off rough. but with the added remind dlc, it has cemented it's place as easily being on par-if not rival Kingdom hearts 2 in fun gameplay and super bosses.

I get that this game has some flaws (the voice acting can be a little robotic sometimes, the story is SO confusing, the worlds are big… kind of empty and not enough of them) but if you’re a big Kingdom Hearts fan, this game will scratch that itch. The combat is so much fun!! (It saved the game for me.) The music is amazing, and the game is BEAUTIFUL!!!! All the mini games are fun! The Toy Story level is by far my favorite! I played this previously on ps4 when it came out. It is a great game for the Steam Deck I have to say. It looks and runs amazingly.

Have had to restart 2 times, and my game deletes all save files. Too tired to go through it again, especially when i was doing crit with all pro codes. Literally the worse feeling to open up the game and see all your files are gone. Once was ok but 2 times is unacceptable.

I love the Kingdom Hearts story, I have loved the games since the playstation 2 days. The graphics are enhanced in this generation of the game and there are more things that the player can do but a lot less actual gameplay. It seems almost entirely cutscenes, especially the DLC. I did not very much enjoy the DLC for this game. A lot of repeat cinematic and unnecessary stuff. I wish there was more exploration in the game and new and different enemies and more loot to collect.

3 hours into Critical mode and I'm not sure why I decided to put myself through this, but I am having fun. Graphics and game play feel great and worth the money.

So I have mixed feelings and personal opinions for KINGDOM HEARTS III + RE Mind (DLC) "KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC)" is a game that can brings fun, excitement but also some areas of disappointment. While it has its strengths, there are aspects that might not be liked by everyone. Strengths: - Visuals and Art Style: The game looks amazing (especially when compared to the previous titles), with amazing looking worlds that merge Disney and Square Enix aesthetics. - Nostalgia Factor: Longtime fans of the series will most likely appreciate the return of beloved characters and the continuation of the series' intricate storylines. - Soundtrack: The music is great as usual, adding depth and emotion to the game play experience while exploring the different themed worlds/stages. Weaknesses: - Story Complexity: The story can be convoluted and challenging to follow, especially for newcomers to the series. (Highly recommended to have played the previous games as this one brings everything some what together by the end) - Pacing Issues: Sometimes the pacing felt uneven, with certain areas of the game dragging on while others felt rushed. - Gameplay Repetition: Despite the engaging combat system, some encounters can feel repetitive and tedious when using the same abilities constantly (which can make some of the game play feel boring or too easy). - MY BIGGEST ISSUE: THE LACK OF ANY FINAL FANTASY CHARACTERS BEING IN THE GAME! Previous titles had a great mix of Disney and Final Fantasy characters that would interact with each other to make the story more exciting. I personally felt that not having any Final Fantasy representation in the game def hurt it overall. Overall Experience: "Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC)" is a mixed bag for me. It delivers a visually captivating and musically rich experience but falls short in areas like storytelling coherence and game play pacing. Fans of the series may find it a worthy addition, but it might not be as fulfilling for those new to the Kingdom Hearts universe. It is def worth playing and I did enjoy it, it just might not be your favorite KH game of the series (Maybe pick it up when it is on a sale). ➖➖⬜ ⬜⬜⬜ ➖⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜ ➖➖⬜ ➖➖⬜ ➖➖⬜ ➖➖⬜ ➖➖⬜ ➖➖⬛ ➖🟨🟨🟨 🟨➖⬛➖🟨 🟨➖⬛➖🟨 🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨 May your heart be your guiding key.
