I remember when I was a kid, I found Obscure 2 (ps2 game) in my CDs case. I don't remember buying this game at all and my brother also had no idea how this game was there. Then I tried this game and it was really scary for me at that time. but I want to explore more about this game and keep playing. So I kept going but Mel's hacking puzzles are so advanced for me (still these days lol). I stopped playing and I haven't gotten into it so far. Still over a decade later, the thought of this game often comes into my mind. I really wanted to know what is going on with these college students and why there are monsters. I didn't even know this is the sequel. But one day I randomly searched on steam and I found these games again. If you compare these games with resident evils, silent hill and other games, of course these aren't that great but I think they are still good for what they are. If you are a fan of that cult classic horror movie called Faculty and the styles of early 20s, you will have so much fun with these games. I always think Stan really looks like young Josh Hartnett and Corey looks like Deryck from sum 41 pop punk band. ( I mean they have sum 41's still waiting song in the intro of the first game ) after all, give these games a try if you are a survival horror fan like me. I'm glad these are still available to buy

It's pretty good. Game play's been improved by a lot, every character had special abilities to help progress the game and unlock scavenging locations; and it retains atmosphere like it's predecessor. Lock picking resembles actual lock picking this time around and it's great.
