Fun, updated version of the one that started them all. Really enjoy playing it. Brings back tons of good memories. ;)

Loved it. For anyone who's never played and looking to try out, is a good game. Only had some minor difficulties with UI at Gilgamesh Tavern with add/remove character. Not game breaking, but player fixable. If my character was still in any tab other than [abilities] I could not remove or add character. Might've been fixed as I started noticing it never happened again days later on in my plays. There's many ways to play this game, so I suggest if you beat it, wait a while to try out other modes, or if you feel ready for more, then try them immediately and start over. The music is good and catchy. I waited to buy game when bugs were ironed out and it was worth it and even got it on sale for 40%. I beat it in the 55 hours time, but I was kind of experienced from the old classic. Didn't really get into the whole series, but I try to sometimes. I might need to work on the 2nd one in case these developers decide to remake that one as well. Would definitely give that a chance as well.

Faithful update of an ancient dungeon crawler. Nice modification options. Good visual upgrades. A classic refreshed with just enough new thinking.

I was excited to try this game. I had not played the original. My first experience with Wizardry was Wizardry 7: Crusaders of the Dark Savant (so good). After a few hours it is very apparent this is game is half-baked. Almost immediately when trying to upgrade my character it reset my characters points to 0 and removed the character portrait. The bugs and weird unpolished nature of this game immediately had me running for the door.

This game is rad, it's very reminiscent of the old school game that it's built off of. One thing to keep in mind is, the remake was built on top of the actual original game - SO there are still some bugs with using the mouse, and jumping between screens. Still, a great game - very fun! If you have the patience, draw your own maps with graph paper, the game is not incredibly long.

I enjoyed Wizardry 8 enough that I thought I would try this but its not as fun. I understand that its an enhanced remake of a much older game. Still, its not that fun. -Dungeon auto map reset on reloading the game -auto map is more of a small window on the side, I have yet to find a control to pull it up to view it in a bigger window -Fast combat still requires users to sit through slow combat until you learn EVERYTHING about a creature. -Cant reposition party members even in the "reposition" menu as it just does not work. -Possible to die multiple times on just the first floor because you got ambushed due to no fault of your own. -Character aging -No range options for caster classes making the back row almost useless with limited spells.

It is a good game, plays nicely, however it is way too short and too simple. I understand that this game is based on original, and so for what was achieved - it is good. I like Wizardry 7 and love Wizardry 8, would like to see follow up of W8.

I like this game. For me, it's a simple, basic game, not too complicated. It's a good brain training game. It's also a good time killer. I've always loved the simple, straightforward party based rpgs. And I love the Wizardry series, and highlighting DND on pc.
