The game is well made and plays good EXCEPT for the whole swinging arms to move thing. There HAS to be other movement options! I for one and I'm sure many others either cannot or do not want to constantly be swinging their arms just to move two feet. Please for the love of all that is good add smooth locomotion or at least teleport.

This was my first VR experience, so I don't want to persuade you to buy or avoid buying this game, but my VR experience was smooth and enjoyable. Let me share my thoughts on this game:
First of all, I played this game with my HTC Vive headset, and I believe that's why I didn't encounter any performance or running issues.
Another concern I had was motion sickness, which typically sets in after about 30 minutes of gaming. However, the game's graphics were so well-designed that I didn't experience any motion sickness, and I was able to play the game for over two hours straight, with only a short two-minute break.
On the other hand, while playing the game, there were moments when I struggled to reload my gun to eliminate all the zombies. In those instances, I resorted to using the 'Hidden Blade' mechanics to dispatch the remaining zombies easily. This slightly disrupted the game's emphasis on weapon variety. Additionally, I encountered some minor glitches where I jumped unusual distances, but these glitches didn't diminish my overall excitement. PS: Don't worry about encountering these issues; I believe I faced them because I enjoy experimenting and trying to find glitches in games. In normal gameplay experiences, you shouldn't run into these problems.
In summary, I had a unique and enjoyable experience while playing the game. I did notice some minor bugs, but they didn't significantly affect the game's playability. The game offers various modes that greatly extend the playtime. However, if I could make a request to the development team, I would ask them to consider adding a story mode with stages in addition to the existing game modes.

Okay. First of all i like zombie VR games as long as they bring something new to the table. That's why i'm excited but at the same time a little sceptical everytime i get the chance to try a new one.
What got me hooked were the gameplay tricks. The hidden wrist blade was really fun especially in a VR zombie game where you get cornered without any ammo a lot. Stabbing zombies in the head with that thing is pretty satisfying. the sound and voice acting are on point too.
I think it's worth its price and worth giving a shot if have a working VR set.

Alright so i noticed this game while browsing for new vr games after gettingmy first index. Thought since its been out for a few days but doesnt have any reviews that someone had to burn 5 dollars to see what was happening here.
I dont wanna just rag on it because the VR game industry is already abit small so im gonna be honest but positive
While it is your standard zombie game in vr, it was still kinda neat, it had a small little intro and the mechanics seemed neat, like having a blade that shoots out your wrist for stabbing zombies and the menu had a neat thing where you stabbed photos to select levels.
I think the main critic that keeps people from even playing this game is the performance. The graphics are OK but the performance is the main issue, i have a decent computer with a 3060ti and 32 gb of ram and my vr was struggling to run the game after a few minutes. so i had to stop to save myself from a headache.
All in all if this game gets updates i will certainly return and update my review :)
edit: Came back to see how the reviews are doing for this game, im pretty sure the other people are bots or paid actors, or possibly on drugs.

'Run For Exodus' really surprised me, it's impressive how it's so packed with tension and action at this price. The weapon mechanics and hidden blade in our hand have truly added a unique beauty to the game. If you're a fan of the zombie theme, you should definitely give this game a shot.
Edit : If you get tired of killing zombies, you can enjoy your time in the maps.
