Starting with crafting survival tools like weapons or medicinal stuff etc, gathering edible food source to eat, constantly drink fresh water to avoid dehydration, sleep in a safe environment and prepare yourself to fight the horde of ghouls around, lurking on every corner. Kill 'em all with various awesome takedowns, depending on your arsenal type.

Fun but repetitive. Some of the controls and user interface are a bit awkward to use. The game is extremely focused on scavenging resources and crafting leaving the story-line and progression much to be desired.
That being said, 'How to Survive' is just one of those hack-n-slash zombie games that is from the perspective of a birds-eye view (which I love!). Not much to look forward to in terms of progression or storytelling. Just killing zombies and surviving!
Simple, fun game overall. Nothing incredibly outstanding. Playing with another player might make things more fun but expect a lot of repetition!
