Risk of Rain is a well-designed game and I am not hardcore enough to make it to the end.

The Original, the wonderful, the pixel breaking beauty that is Risk Of Rain (2013) is a great time, from when it was released to today.

You crash land on a hostile planet and now have to gather different items that have crashed down with you to survive. Face off against terrifying monsters as you try to get off the planet. Unlock more characters as you go along and sharpen your skill with different play styles. A great game that is plenty difficult, definitely give it a try!

This game made me fall in love with roguelikes, pixel art styles, and 2D games in general. The remake is almost objectively a better game, but this one goes one sale pretty often and you can get it for around $2.

Listen its great but just buy Risk of Rain Returns. Unless you want the mods for this game, the mods are great and honestly kind of make it worth buying this seperately from returns but like that's about it

A fun little rougelike to play every now and then. Gets a little stale when using certain artifacts - makes you too OP, no matter which character you choose. I suggest not picking the 'command' artifact ever for that reason, other than for getting achievements or experimenting with making the most broken builds possible. Awesome soundtrack tho.
