After having finally circled back to go for 100% completion on this, I gotta say it was a way better game than I initially gave it credit for. Unfortunately, the full playthrough also opened my eyes to a looottt of different problems this game has, which results in me not moving my original star scoring, so it’ll stay a 6/10 from me. I’ll spare the details on the objective technical issues since most people have already beaten this game to death for it. Aside from those, these were my three biggest personal issues with the game: 1. The Floatyard just isn’t fun. I’m all for the concept, I love me a good ruins/graveyard vibe level with a boss fight at the end, but the way in which this place is designed just makes it SUPER annoying to explore, both in and out of the main story quest. Every time I’m there all I can think about it which route is the fasted and least tedious way to get out of here. 2. Some of these quests take a stupidly long time to do for no reason at all. I completed Horace’s Assistant quest but it still gave me the thinner ending for it because the quest took so long that it wasn’t until after the final boss that I was able to complete it. 3. I really hate the amount of stupid “open one door to close the other” puzzles always being combined with fetch quests requiring you to go back and forth through those gates over and over and over. I know the story isn’t fantastic, but it could have been so much worse (I never liked the original idea of a Blot revival anyways), so that one doesn’t really bother me as much. The bosses are okay (when Oswald isn’t getting in the way), but nothing crazy to write home about. Some of the puzzles like the Train Tunnels are actually really fun to see the different variations for between the two paths. The game can be very tedious to manage full completion for, but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting in that regard. Overall, a very messy game, but eh I had fun with it 6/10 staying solid

It is an okay game, i would not buy it at full price. I personally will always prefer the 1st Epic Mickey game. However, I would definitely suggest buying the game when its on sale for a reasonable price.
