xbox 360 era game Perfect for steamdeck Had one bug where you command the other character to start and stop a windmill, but there was no reaction: solution: open the command window, use the analog to select an option, let go of the analog and select the option again. Selecting the option twice this way worked. Letting go of the analog is the important part. If you try to move the analog around, it will select the other option, in which case it doesnt seem to work.

Man, the developers of this game owe me a favor because I had the patience to progress past Trip becoming unresponsive during the windmill and the submarine crane puzzles. They almost missed my thumb up. I still liked it better than TLOU.

One of those older games I never got around to playing on my desktop, since the linear, if well polished, console-y gameplay typically isn't my jam, but I enjoy playing on my LE:GO. Well made for its time so it holds up well, and runs great on portables. It does a bit of the same thing as NIER:Automata with the camera angles, though, which some people can't stand, so heads up.

So I see a lot of people not enjoying the camera changes... The only advice I have is that this plays like an old school/new school 3-D platformer game. Think the 90's.. Think Spryro for the more mature, but nothing like Spyro. As the camera changes, so must your perception of the game. It can go from a modern third person action game, to a left/right, up/down side scroller game at the change of a camera angle, and game script. You have to get your brain ready for the switches. The story is fun and uniquely engaging, as you're basically at the mercy of following around this cute little NPC girl that helps you along the way. I think this would have been a great dual character/two person coop game, but I think it's inception is old school, and earlier than that concept became a thing. Like I said, it's a unique single player game. If you can find it on sale then definitely snatch it up and enjoy the ride. If you can get past the perspective changes(and there are mods for that if you can't), it has old a lot of old school excellence mixed together. It's well worth any sale price, as well as it's full price IMHO.

The first game about the Monkey to the west, good fun action adventure with a nice cast and sci-fi look. Platforming is not great, but combat is satisfying if simple. Now very old and very much looks of its era, UE3 bloom and and filters.

Fun underrated little gem, amazing performance by Andy Serkis, combat is a bit basic, but it's fun for a playthrough, especially when it's only $2 on sale

Fun brawler/platformer with a decent story. It's short, so pick it up on sale.

Bought this since I heard a lot of people hyping this one up. Not as great as advertised, but in 2025 on discount I think it can be a decent game. Probably rate it 81/100, not great not terrible but just good. Played on Steam Deck, ran pretty good @ 60 fps

i haven't finished playing through this game. when i started i thought i bought the 2nd game in a series because it dumps you in so much of that feeling. that is not the case. it runs great on my work laptop. neat. it's really enjoyable to play. a top-tier experience on a computer that isn't meant to do that at all. and the graphics hold up as far as being sufficient to carry the experience. (it's not realistic, but it's sufficient to be immersive) this is lowkey an outstanding game. the combat is basic and fun (my preference; combat is just a hassle), and puzzles and problem solving is the main focus. it's good-linear. often combat is just a type of puzzle, which i like. the interaction between the protagonists is fun and interesting. the setting interesting and predates the obsession with post-apocalyptic, so it lands softly. this game is broken out in to puzzles and combat experiences. that was a consequence of the technical limitations at the time, but now it makes it so you solve an area and move to the next. it's rewarding and fun. the motion capture and cinematic bla is neat. it's still outstanding in 2025. i hate that you have to collect orbs, but it doesn't seem to be terribly important for advancing. shrug. _____ this feels like a game that's just fun and it doesn't matter when you play it. i think i got it for 3 dollars? i don't see paying top dollar for this, but at a discount (or if your traveling with a work computer like i am) this is an excellent experience that isn't on anyone's radar. easy to recommend.
