They have truly improved with this game. It's quite captivating and even the monster model looked pretty decent. Of course it's an indie game and has it's little flaws but for a short Japanese horror experience about a spider demon, it's not a bad game at all.
The forest was done exceptionally well, too, with falling leaves, rustling twigs on the ground and eerie ambience.
There could have been a bit more background information though. You had a journal and documents slot in inventory but never picked up anything.
