The combat portion of the game is decent, if not a bit barebones and underdeveloped. The "endless" Talent tree that is this game's entire gimmick IS endless, and completely randomly generated every game. This combined with the fact you can only see a few talents ahead and you have no real control over how the tree is structured means every single play-through is going to feel different.... And completely generic and outside of your control. The funny thing is, I think if you just removed the fog of war from the talent tree, it would allow players to actually strategize and plan out their talent board... It feels like the addition of the heavy obfuscation of the talent tree serves only to make this game worse.

Deceptively deep and fun for what, on the surface, initially feels like a very basic premise. Manages to create a wide variety of experiences, genuine challenges and joy when the stars align to let a combo snowball. Very well done.

It's a really fun game and I would play it more but I ain't buying the coming DLC if the dev does not add a Save and Exit mid run basic ass feature... Buyer beware: a run could take up an hour or so to finish.

10/10 easily worth the money. This game has more depth and gameplay than it seems at face value. The soundtrack is repetitive, but I don't mind. It's a banger. Looking forward to sinking more hours into this!

While it may be simple it is a fun game with great replay value. It's interesting to try new build combos with each character class. I'm currently about halfway through the levels and really enjoy the starting class the most so far. I have unlocked all the classes except the final one. mage is my second favorite. Building up passive damage with these 2 characters is very strong.

It is super fun. every run is different, but even if you don't beat the level you still get some kind of progression.

Overall the game is fine, but nothing serious. It has it's massive flaws with RNG, which makes it rather annoying rather then enjoyable to play as we progress in the endgame. The game itself is good and it has the potential, but sadly it is wasted and didn't thought through to be a great game. Overall: 7/10 Gameplay: 6/10, due to massive rng Skill combinations: 8/10, due to many options to play with different styles Graphics: 8/10, due to nostalgic and simple setup, which is mostly fits the games theme Enemy design: 7/10, simple but it has a variety of enemies, but it is lost to damage and the fixed setup of the game, since every mob will feel nearly the same, when you have a good setup

Fun little roguelike, don't be fooled by the discription, the gameplay is the talenttree. it feels like a maze game, were you need to find the best build to survive the following night. 37h in and to me it is still interesting, especially the challenges are super fun! and let's be real: you payed more for worse games. ;)

Dev went awol and refuses to fix bugs, lost progress and total wipes of a players game. He is now blocking people who message him about fixing all these things and refuses to add a save system to the game. The biggest issue is the game is unplayable at times due to some things mentioned above...yet the dev is still selling it in the store. Totally unethical and shady. I plan on doing whatever it takes, in a peaceful manner, to stop this from going on further. It bothers the hell out of me that people are still buying the game and dont even know yet that they will lose their game data. Or, they arent aware that the developer cant be reached/talked to. Cant even get him to respond to anyone in the game's Steam forum of discussions. 19 pages of players needing help etc...he doesnt show up more than once or twice.

omg this is amazing fun you're basically a little turret (despite your character choice) and you have to kill the waves of enemies from each direction can you survive 20 nights? it starts out seeming easy but it ramps up in a fun way the upgrade paths are a cool way to do this instead of "choose one" like other roguelites the presentation is on point, when it gets serious the music gets more intense and it's such a rush this is a wonderful game for the price, get it you'll have fun
