Lots of games followed Vampire Survivors. Some are straight clones, some added their own spin. This one took away complexity and added huge amounts of grind.
My least favourite VS-like I've played so far, but it's OK. Not the worst game ever. Get it on sale if you really must. I wouldn't bother.
