I started a game and I was able to play as a mushroom person with a monocel. I had no idea what to do tho and had to at least look at a steam guide. Afterwards, it started to make sense. Now I play as a reptilian man with a monocel and I built a tiny house at the beach where I collect the bones of my enemies. Pro: The developper did not bend the knee to the insane woke identity politics crowd. Cons: It crashes a tad too much. Overall fantastic game as far as I can tell after 4 hours.

I basically feel the same way as many others where this game is missing quite a bit to grip you even at the beginning levels. With more features or a more interesting world/characters I might see myself playing this later, but right now its a pass for me as I still haven't fully played through the games that I own that currently do roughly the same things, but better. Will be looking at this at a later date to see for content though and as long as it gets the content it needs it'll be worth the price.

Fun RPG with a lot of emphasis on resource gathering and crafting. Gets a bit grindy at times, but I still find myself toughing it through grinding athlethics/leadership for the 4th time after my previous characters met their demises in encounters they weren't prepared for. Next time I'll get thouse centaurs for sure.

I got the game because it looked fun. It is not just fun its an addiction for me at this point. In 7 days i got over 60 hours. If that does not convince a person it is fun then i have nothing to convince them.

Excellent! In the same vein as Unreal World, Dwarf Fortress adventure mode, Kenshi etc but more accessible and enjoyable. Bonus: it runs great on Linux too!

Rating: 6.4 Gameplay: Dwarf Fortress meets leveling sim Story: N/a Difficulty: Steep learning Curve Graphics: Dwarf Fort meets tabletop Play Time: True Sandbox Price: It's priced well but pick it up before they raise the price again. It may not be worth it later. Bugs: EA inconsistencies like who owns a town is wrong in the records. (Petty placeholder stuff) Audience: Mature enough to process Violence Misc: The dev seems active now, this is his second game like this and he promises the moon. I can't speak for him but this game has potential.

Great game, great developer! I am looking forwards to seeing how this game develops under its active early-access development. And seeing what it turns into going into the future. I have been following this game for a while now, and it is crazy how much has been added in that time frame. I play on my steamdeck with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and that works fine for me. This game is like a solo tabletop rpg, with skyrim mixed in, with heavy inspiration from the oldskool gaming world, with modern twists. You will die, but what you do after is up to you. The simulated world history persists. And you can continue with a new character or the same one depending on your chosen playstyle. I am very much looking forwards to the war & conquest update, that should be releasing sometime in March 2025. I like to play with mods on, as this game comes with full mod support, so if there is something that isn't in the game, well feel free to mod it in with it's robust modding support built in, and modding documentation in the game files. So watch out for Kangaroos, and have fun playing Soulash 2! It's great! Thank you Artur for your hard work!

Every trader has nothing to offer me in terms of decent gear to order. The world feels quite dead if i have to craft everything myself to actually stand a chance. Easy difficulty world events can be misleading and spawn 2 enemies that are of a higher difficulty that paralyse and just kill you in one or two turns with no chance to escape (since you're paralysed in the first combat turn). Hope this game gets ironed out more so it will be more enjoyable. In the mean time i'll just murder whole towns which is easier than the world events.

This game has a great future. The dev is communicative and is very passionate about the game, sticking with his vision. It clearly draws upon games like Dwarf Fortress, but instead of adventure being a gamemode, it's the entire game. That means it is more immersive, polished and fun as it is the sole focus. The game already has plenty of stuff to do, you can build settlements, adventure, have a family and a family owned business, multiple skills and wars. Soon (the next major update) we'll get more on wars and necromancy. If you don't know if you'll like the game, try the demo. I myself tried the demo at first and invested hours into it because it was so fun.

It's a visually limited game, but I was surprised to see that it had a depth and replayability. The contents are not yet diverse, so once you have a certain level of equipment, you have nothing to do except build a settlement. I can feel the fun when I play Kenshi. That immersion is pretty good. The game's skeleton is solid and I think it will be great game. Keep up the good work!
