Three victims were found, and Melinda asks you again for help to look for clues if the murders are connected. Alphabetic Murders is the second game of the series Criminal Archives; you are playing once again as a crime reporter and notice a masked man who broke into the house of one of the victims to steal essential papers. You can investigate by collecting evidence and speaking to the witnesses, but the truth is far from what you could imagine.

The artwork is as outstanding as the rest of the series, and the character's design is not bad, but I expected better from this series. What I enjoyed the most was the puzzle; there are multiple of them, and none is repetitive. The hidden objects scenes are nicely done, too.

The game is quite long compared to other HOGs I've played; this one doesn't have the stars collection to choose your path, unlike the latest games. The collectibles are beautifully made; however, I wished there were Steam achievements for this one; there is an in-game achievement, though.

Pros:
+Beautiful visuals and location design.
+Good soundtracks.
+Well drawn hidden objects scenes. (21 in total)
+Beautiful and helpful journal keeps track of the story.
+Good voice-overs.
+Variety of original puzzles. (21 in total, some of them are difficult, and I had to skip them)
+Collectables (3 types)
+Bonus chapter
+In-game strategy guide.
Cons:
-No Steam achievements
The bonus chapter is a continuation of the story with some of the characters, it was beautifully introduced and I enjoyed the designs they were showing so much. I can't wait to play the rest of the series. Highly recommended to HOGs lovers.
