Pretty good game in early access although there are couple problem:
Charting is one but I'm sure it'll get improved in the future.
need more resolution options.
Otherwise the game is fun and with M2U's songs being inside makes the experience a whole lot better. I'm interested on how this game develops in the near future.

Since the game is still in Early Access, I would forgive the small song line-up for now.
The UI is generally clean, which is great. However, I would like to suggest a few improvements:
- Disable/enable options for note column lines.
- Key input lighting (a.k.a. Keybeam) brightness options, as it does hinder visibility sometimes.
- In Survival Mode, during the Survival Time, show EARLY/LATE display in regular BRILLIANT hits.
- Add Screen Resolution options smaller than 1280x720 for low-end PC users. At least around 1066x600 or 1024x576 would be enough.
- (Optional) Implement an Dynamic Note Speed option. Example, if I set my Note Speed to 5.0 on a BPM 150 song, make it so that it automatically adjusts the Note Speed to 6.0 on a BPM 125 song (150 x 5.0 = 750, so 125 x 6.0 = 750)
Quality of note patterns mostly good, some are okay, but I look forward to more creative ones in the future.
Things are in a good direction for this game. Good luck, M2U and SINKER SIX!

[12/22/23] I have a huge problem, it won't let me enter the game (black screen when starting it), I have high expectations for it and having an error this serious is unacceptable, I hope the developers provide some solution or fix this error.
[12/25/23] The Devs heard the problem and fixed it a few days after the launch, now that I have tried the game I can say that it is a stable game, it has few songs (22 at the moment) and they have good mapping, I found the survival mode interesting, competing for a top with 98 more people to rank up is quite nice, for now I can say that the game is worth the price it has and that it can provide good hours of content.
Now I change my review to positive, because it's worth it

Wish there was a way to dim the backgrounds and make the notes easier to read no matter what my notespeed is.

Promising start for a rhythm game
Charts are a little homogenuous
Music is quite homogenuous, to an alarming degree considering M2U's unbelievable stylistic range
None of it is outright *bad*
The biggest issue right now is the sync really, REALLY needs to be looked at. Consecutive replays of a track has its BGM shifting significantly in either direction which means either dealing with it and playing visually instead or having the game award you "F" rank all-combos playing via sound

I must say, very promising stuff indeed.
I will point out that while a massive rhythm game fan, VSRGs of all things do exist has a weak spot in my skill and knowledge, therefore it is not my place to comment on the game's competency for higher level play (readability/unpopular gameplay choices etc).
In terms of my overall experience VVAV ONE is no doubt in early access regarding quantity of content but that's to be expected. Fortunately so far the game seems absent of any considerable performance issues or bugs that could be to the detriment of playability. The UI is clean and readable though could perhaps be a little more responsive, and to address an integral feature, the music, while currently a limited lineup it's a bunch of classic M2U tracks which are brilliant as always.

Early Access Review:
Seriously, if this game has only single player mode with no extra mechanics and targeting casual players, it would've been better.
More specifically, survival battle royale elimination is not ideal for rhythm games. The music variety is also really lacking and they aren't appeal to newcomers at all. The unlockable songs are locked behind grinding , which by the way is extremely tedious with no variety between each song. To be honest, more songs from more artists wouldn't entirely fix it.

So yeah, this keyboard rhythm game has much less features than a EZ2ON or a DJMax, but it clearly doesn't want to compete on this level, nor they can I think. The goal is to offer another little keyboard rhythm game with keysounded (which is not that common), with it's own charts, songlist, experience, scoring system and so on.
Of course it's missings basic stuff or features like favorites; scroll speed is related to tempo and you can't change that; no leaderboard; no fanfare or special ending text for a Full Combo; early and late are barely noticeable; no detailed informations and they're not saved to see what the previous high score was made of (by the way, you can know if you Full Combo'd a song only if you got it with a S rank -950 000 of score-, which gives you automatically a SS rank, but if you have lower rank and Full Combo, no way to know that if coming back to it later, there's only your normal rank); way less board options and customizations; no real animated video clips; etc...
But most of them doesn't harm the experience at all, and you can take it for what it is: a nice new cool keyboard sounded rhythm game with M2Us music. If you love his stuff, I think it could be a must.
I like the default and only board skin for now, left gauge for song length, right gauge for health. 5K and 6K have nice charts, although 5K have two buttons possibles for central lanes, but doesn't offers middle trills like DJMax's 5B does. I don't know for the 4K charts because I didn't tried this mode as I really am not a 4K player.
Be aware of one thing though, for now, almost all songs exclusively are in sextuplets swing / shuffle. There's real triplets and sextuplets everywhere (to make it simple, it's when you tap the beat to the tempo, and you can subdivide those beats into respectively three or six equal "sub-beats" so to speak, and that the notes you hear fit in this structure, and the shuffle / swing is when the note is place on respectively the sub-beats 1 and 3 for the triplets, and on sub-beats 1 3 4 and 6 for sextuplets).
So if you're uncomfortable with those, it might be a good game to train with, but if you simply hate those, you might as well just skip this game.
Anyway, I'm curious to see how the game will change during the course of it's Early Access, it has already a nice selection of songs, good charts, and overall good graphical and sound feedbacks with a pleasing experience, and a nice menu and interface (which is clearly not a common standard for every keyboard rhythm games you can find out there on Steam).

1.3k hours on DJMAX RESPECT V, 100 hours on EZ2ON:Reboot R
Sifted through the songs and charts briefly.
Most of the songs are from M2U which is nice. They are compatible with rhythm games.
My chart preference in VSRGs aligns very closely to what is offered in DJMAX RESPECT V.
However, the charts in VVAV ONE is filled with hold notes which I am not a big fan of.
I will keep a close eye to this game if it receives improvements to the charting.
Will try to update my review accordingly as it progress through the early-access phase.
