I tried out Greymarsh and Bloodwood Dungeon on a whim, and honestly I am so glad I gave it a chance. Nimahova is making some of the best text-based RPGs I have played since getting into the genre, and I cannot wait for their new releases. Even if you have not tried out text-based RPGs/gamebooks in the past, I recommend you start with this dev's games as they are the cream of the crop imo.
Focusing on Greymarsh, it's a fun, immersive adventure with fantastic writing and smooth gameplay. Just like Bloodwood Dungeon, Greymarsh has that "gamebook" feel and is a resounding success at nailing that vibe. The UI is fantastic, and imo it has the best gameplay out of all the text-based RPG games I have tried on PC. Together with the art style, illustrations, and music, this dev has found a way to create a a TON of immersion that will suck you into the world of Greymarsh.
As said earlier, the writing is fantastic and I am becoming more and more fascinated with the lore. If you play Bloodwood Dungeon, you'll find that these games share a lore universe and there is a lot of crossover, which makes me even more excited for future entries. I even found that my background lore knowledge from Bloodwood Dungeon helped me complete a side quest in Graymarsh. If you have only played one of these titles, definitely check out the other as spotting the similarities was very rewarding.
Honestly I rarely leave reviews, but I have been so impressed with this developer and these games that I wanted to drop my thoughts and let everyone know what a fun experience Greymarsh is. Definitely give it a try!!
