Love Softstars Bridge Curse games. This is in the same vein of sharing universe with horror films. However. There is not much here. Compared to The Bridge Curse games, which have variation, fun characters and heaps of atmosphere, there aren't really any interesting characters, not much variation in gamplay or scenarios, and the horror is lacking for me. It is also 90% a walking sim, which isn't obvious from trailers etc. It's very linear, most NPCs are stationary, encounters scripted and mostly dealt by a one single button prompt. I remember one stealth encounter, which was extremely short, a few puzzles, a chase sequence (which was rather thrilling tbh), and a classic bossfight in which you lead the enemy towards enviromental hazards and move out of the way x amount of times to wear their health down. They also added a little DLC and there are collectibles for achievements. That's it. I don't mind walking sims, it's actually one of my favourite genres, but the lackluster scares, not much of a story, uninspired characters, and very little to do or explore really dissapointed me. Not even the enemy designs were much to write about. All in all very very meh of a game. Get it on sale if you're interested.
