I played for a while and as much as I wanted to like the game it needs some adjustments and mechanics that need to be reworked. I'm not sure if the creators intended the game to be open to making your own build, but it doesn't leave room for challenges aside from the in-game challenges you complete as quests for currency. Please note the game controls were designed with game controller use in mind.
The Performance
It runs quite well. I didn't see any tearing but some rendering could be adjusted for plants. Some objects you might be tempted to jump on don't let you, it just slides you off at an odd angle. Though, the day time freedom to change the setting to day, morning, evening etc is nice and changes without issues as far as I could see.
Wolf Customization
I do like that you can unlock the wolf fur, eye and marking colors but I'm not agreeing to the idea of using currency to do it. I think for the sake of having a challenge, certain colors can be unlock-able by playing the game rather than spending the currency you get right when you enter the game. Each wolf you unlock for the pack needs the same customization unlocked with the same currency.
The Wolf Pack Mechanics
Honestly, I was excited about this but the balance is way off. You can't see the health of your companions so there is no telling when they die (or expire?} till they fall over and you can't heal or resurrect them which defeats the purpose of a healing totem that looks like its meant for you and the companions. You have the choice to spend the gold currency to unlock the pack members or to wait till you reach a certain level but while I decided to level, one thing bothered me...
Combat mechanics and skill upgrades
My biggest issue was that even with the emphasis of a pack being behind you, your wolf is still solo. I'm not feeling like I'm proving myself by any means other than soloing all the fights including bosses on my own. The companion does help, but as I mentioned above, the balancing is off. A companion with skills maxed out to match mine should be able to stay with me and not die in a matter of 10 seconds, maybe less. Skill upgrades for things like speed, strength, health and a couple others are bought with the gold currency and not earned. Spells are earned but a lot of the time I don't need to use my spells because my skills are maxed out and I'm overpowered. I admit I went into the game and saw that we could max out the skill tree outright with no sense of challenge. If the skills for strength and health and whatnot increased as you leveled till they maxed out I think that would make for a fair challenge. I haven't bothered with the other pack members because I didn't feel confident they would be needed or if its just flair. I do think the bosses needed to be reworked as well because I expected the bear to be a challenge and it wasn't because my skills were maxed out.
Lacking in things to explore
I think for something basic, the map is a good size. The map has some mundane structures that indicate humans were there but are not present in the game. The animals see to hover around the structures whereas there is a lot of open map space where animals could be present but are absent. I understand the size of the game calls for a small map and maybe adding more animals affected the performance but this could be patched.
Overall I do think the game has a lot of potential if the mechanics are reworked and some things are earned rather than bought. The game reminds me too much of a mobile game ported to PC. I do want to see it improved. It does have a replay feature which definitely needs to be kept but first I need a challenge present to play this game. I hope to see some patches out and hope the creators see this as constructive criticism. If your just looking for the game where you kill animals with a wolf without the gotcha mechanics you might like this game but I would like to see some of the suggestions in play just to make it worth playing.

Clearly very new with a long way to go. Feels like a very mildly upgraded mobile game. No explanations, no tutorials, no guide on what to do, just a wolf in a forest killing and eating.
I feel like this would be very fun after a lot of updates.
In its current state, play it if you have the money to spend but don't expect a masterpiece.

Not bad for a 3.99 Game something you can play and just turn your brain off and enjoy.

When I saw the video and screenshots of the game I was thinking this game would either be very bad, or surprisingly good. Turns out it's bad.
The biggest problem is that there's barely any content. All you do is slay other animals. Either to eat, which generates health, or to get stronger. Because of this lack of content, it gets boring very quickly. The animals aren't that difficult to defeat either. Sure, it might take a while to take down an animal, but you can easily dodge them.
I started out with 250000 gold. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a mistake by the developers, because with this I was able to buy everything that is available in the game and still have plenty of gold left.
I can accept the mediocre graphics, and I do think it's cool that there are many ways to customize your wolf, but there is no music, and each sound effect only has like two versions. Meaning you will constantly hear the same two attack sounds.
