Good foundation but the lack of checkpoints makes so many levels very tedious

it's okay. i like the movement mechanics, but i feel like the levels and general gameplay don't take great advantage of them. also, some of the levels are frustrating.
the game seems like it would be good for speedrunning or if you're trying to improve your placing on the charts, but playing "normally" isn't that fun. the difficulty when playing "normally" comes from kinda normal platforming stuff, instead of from being able to do something fast enough or creatively enough.

I can't get N-ough of this game.
The physics parkour is precise yet fluid; the levels are filled with interesting puzzles and challenging obstacles, which are even more engaging than in the previous entries. If you've played the previous games then it'll feel familiar, though with numerous additions, such as round shapes, new enemies and hazards, and color themes.
There are massive additions to the co-op experience, including specially designed levels and a race gamemode. It's an absolute blast with friends (through Steam's remote play feature, or just at the same computer). Really the only thing that the game could use is native online multiplayer.
There's pretty much nothing to complain about, and the price is well worth paying. If you enjoyed past Ns, or want to play one of the best platformers ever made, then go right ahead with N++.

I bought this game after watching a speedrun video on the internet, but it was much harder than it looked. However, it seems worth a try. The difficulty level is divided into several levels, so even unfamiliar people can challenge it. The difference from similar games is that there is acceleration, so you always have to think about acceleration.

Thousands of sidescrollers DREAM of the absolutely perfect movement physics N already had in the original Macromedia Flash version. The ++ rerelease is just icing on the cake. But boy, is the icing excellent too! N++ does the precision platformer subgenre ultimate justice by putting the precision in the platformer like perhaps no other game does. All the new obstacles feel right at home next to the old ones, and even if you can't get enough after tons of content ready from a fresh install, there's way, WAY more custom stuff to get. Simply put, it's THE "just one more level" game!

This game can get really tough, but its super rewarding to beat each level. also the gold collection in this one is interesting as to add to your total gold you have to collect all the gold in a level, which i think is a really cool way to make some levels re-playable. also all the color options is nice too. of course it controls really nicely too, when I lose it really feels like its me, not the game, which in my opinion is a really good thing.
if you loved the og N or N+ you'll love this one.
