🤙🏻 6/10 🎮 1-4 players | Local+Online 💬 Did you love Golden Axe when you were growing up? If so, you're gonna love this. Side scrolling, retro hack'n'slash done beautifully. More reviews @ Quantum Nachos

Its ok, looks inspired by rastan from taito 1987 with 4 player option but its just not difficult in any meaning full way, at least give us acess to hard mode with out having to play normal first as its just a walk thru, also some more moves like rastan had, up an down attacks would add alot to this. the invincible dodge roll is a bit too forgiving and the hits on enemys have no maety feel, i like the look and inspiration for this game but volgaar did it much better if not a bit too on the hard side, i like my arcade style games to have some difficulty, this would be good for kids

Love it so far! Gameplay is fun and I feel like I'm playing a classic on Sega Genesis. Soundtrack and art are great. It's challenging but doesn't feel like a chore. Also been enjoying playing it with my kids using the co-op mode! It's a great game overall, an homage to the classics!

Sword and Sorcery: the arcade game. If you like retro games and are a fan of sword and sorcery fantasy such as Conan the Barbarian, Elric of Melniboné, Fafhrd and Gray Mouser, or even just Dungeons & Dragons, then by Crom, this is the game for you. Each playable character represents a major sword and sorcery archetype, each with their own abilities, pros and cons. You've got:

Conan with the serial numbers filed off
a buxom bikini armor clad warrior princess
a cowled, agile rogue and
a half human, half demon fighter mage
The gameplay itself is a 2D platformer with lots of enemies to hack and slash almost like a beat-em-up, and lots of obstacles to traverse, jump over, or climb under. You get five credits, and if those run out, game over. In the higher difficulties, the game saves your progress only after you clear enough levels at a time. Graphics are beautiful pixel art that detailed, yet still leave a lot to the imagination. Music is straight out of the 16-bit era, and I think I recall some of the artists on this game even did music for various classic 16 bit games so it brings you right back to the early 1990s. You can play up to 4 players, one player per character, however this game seems to support only local co-op so I have not yet had a chance to try this with Steam Remote Play. I am writing this only after clearing heroic mode, and guess what? To get the true ending you have to clear epic mode which only unlocks after beating heroic mode, so plenty of replay value. There is an easy mode suited for beginners as well.

I have never ever reviewed a game that quickly… I have 16 minutes on the clock, half mine, half my little son… This game is such an incredible blast from the past.. I was there Gandalf.. 3000 years ago.. Golden Axe, Conan and all the golden classics… And the CRT filter is the icing on the cake… it‘s the best CRT experience I have ever experienced on modern devices.. So just a big thank you…🥰
