Very unique beat em up, it has a belt-scroller, Final Fight sort of combat system, emphasizing grabs for crowd control and such, but with only two axes of movement. It's sorta like a prettier and deeper version of Kung-Fu on NES. Five very distinct characters each with very broad movesets, lots of different enemy types that are combined in ways that create interesting encounters throughout. You can beat it in less than an hour if you're quick, encounters and levels never really overstay their welcome. Time attack options for individual levels and the full game, co op, and hard mode add some replayability, although if you aren't planning on challenging yourself by trying to beat the game without using continues then there isn't all that much to do once you get to the end once or twice and try all the characters, as is the case with all beat em ups, really. One of the best beat em ups I've played. Big thumb.
