No Controller Support. Sorry, Dealbreaker. Early Access (of 16 months?) or not. And that would be ok-ish, but the Steam Input Override doesn't work for it either. Recently became very excited for this game, upon hearing that it is supposed to be coming to console 'soon', and lord knows the relatively small Survival Sandbox market on console could REALLY use the competition, but for some, perhaps many, controller support is. an. Accessibility. issue. ...not just a preference. Nevermind the large number of forum threads dating back to 2023 about the issue, which appear unanswered at least by a potentially long-term ETA. I'm sure the game is absolutely worth the currently discounted price of less than 10 bucks; any game is if you play at least an hour or two, and I'm sure they (a small team) are currently working on many ways to improve the game... but I need controller support to be one of them. As is, just personally not worth my time right now. I'll be back though and will happily update this review. Here's to hoping.

I'm a big fan of this genera of game, so when I was a zombie survival game you could have tanks and helicopters in I jumped at it. What I found was... - Empyrion without Spaceships; - Conan with guns and without story; - Rust but more grindy; It has most of the things I'd wish other survival games would add... but the execution just feels very lackluster. It's very grindy, the interface is blah, and despite being full of monsters and NPCs, I find it empty and uncompelling. This game could really benefit from a proper story with lore to explore. Should really do away with the scifi element of the game too if we're not going to have space ships and such. The Good: :) - Diverse Landscape - Plenty of Points of Interest - Tanks and Helicopters in a survival game - cool! - You can recruit followers and make them craft for you, conan style. The Bad: :( - The enemy AI is pretty bad... their basic programming is to run at you and attack. The melee enemies you can run circles around. The ranged ones are very aimbotty. - Little-to-no environmental interaction. Example: There all these cooking fires around the map but they provide neither warmth nor allow me to cook on them. - Oh my god is it grindy in terms of resources. - No vanity appeal - I like to customize my character and this offers no appeal here. 1 set of gear looks like another. Very little in the way of character customization too, and the female haircuts all stink. - No 3rd person support. I'm sure this is one of those "better with friends" games. And for that reason I still give it a recommend. . I'll come back and see how things progress. I want to like this game... I really do... There's a lot about this game that needs work, but it has a solid foundation. I've been playing this with a couple of friends, and we've had a really good time with this crazy post-apocalyptic world.

Not recommended If you like dying 30 times during the tutorial, do not play this game, bought it on discount, installed and launched it and it keeps draining your life during tutorial without any heals or food to keep you going, if you are a masochist and like this go ahead an buy it.

Sweet idea, poor execution. Hoping it improves more with time, assuming they keep updating it.

I like there are so many different ways to play this game. The settings give you many different ways to tailor your experience.

Hear me out, cozy gamers. It's actually pretty nice being able to go through and just build up your base, do a little digging around for resources. There's farming, mods for animals, you can control all aspects of difficulty. It's cozy apocalypse survival.Really enjoy this title and the graphic update has made the game even more of an enjoyment.

BAD was the game sold out to the highest bidder?" definitly so we suffer and the buyer is a bitch that just wrecked this game... been hear since first release was AWESOME except for turrets taking out tank rounds... not belivable. but shit this game was aweeeeesome initally except for that. 755 hours on this game. sad the devs fuked it
