First and foremost let me just clarify that I'm not against the gameplay in any way. The platforming mechanic works well enough by being responsive and ideal for time trials and the obstacle courses are neat. Maybe timing the start of each level shouldn't be as annoying as it is in order to achieve the best times but it's not much to worry about. My main problem is with the concept of the game.
Daily Dadish, as the name suggests, is a game that delivers a short and quick level every 24 hours. That means that right now you can play one level, appreciate its pixel art presentation, dedicated track and witty dialogue by the end, and in 24 hours another one and so on. Unfortunately the levels don't stack so every day you are only allowed to play a single level. That is unless you wanna go back to the tutorial which, if the levels can be beaten in under a minute, this one is even shorter. In other words, Unless you wanna replay levels in order to perfect them you won't be getting much playtime out of this one.
I'm baffled at how they thought this was a good idea to implement. My guess is that the casual gamer was the target but even then they may probably abandon the game after a few days if they can't do anything else more so considering that the levels themselves don't deserve this scheduling treatment. And while it's true that the game bases the levels on your PC's internal clock which can be manipulated, you shouldn't have to do this in order to keep playing.
In short, this was quite the waste since the daily mechanic could have been used with challenges aside from a set bunch to play or stacked levels. It is what it is.
