I have played this game through with both the main characters now, the Mage and the Knight. I did enjoy it, there are nice little touches and some great verbal responses from the NPCs during combat. It is not a simple fight from the beginning and wins the game playthrough, you have to be careful as you level up, especially at the beginning to slowly access new skills. I would recommend this for casual players that still want a bit of a challenge and enjoy exploring and levelling up to new fighting skills and magic spells.
