The author has a shockingly in depth comprehension of not only lovecraft lore but also the occult.
Gameplay wise it feels alot how lobotomy corporation first felt like with the asia jank it goes from a relaxing cozy experience where you can chill out and just relax, tO ANXIETY FREAKING OUT AM I GONNA MAKE IT TO THE DEADLINE?!
