It's a very decent puzzle game, where you learn as you go on. There is a certain depth to it which forces you to experiment so that you can progress. By my second death, I already begun to understand what I was supposed to be doing. So, it's not like Noita where the hidden mechanics are nearly impossible to understand. It is very fun to learn new things and each new potion always gives you the feeling of progress, even if their ability is utterly useless. My only complaint is that the whole "saving lost souls" mechanic just ends up becoming a nuisance to fill time, with you having to stop what you are doing to cure them. The game later on gives a lot of things to remove that nuisance entirely. So by end of the game, you are going to waste 20 seconds to heal them instead of 2 min. Which, although it made me feel rewarded for having made the effort to plan ahead. It does contribute to the feeling that the whole mechanic of healing them was nothing more than an extra to give you a "false" sense of urgency. The game also has a few visual bugs, lags sometimes and nearly crashed once, but nothing that ruined my experience. - 7.5/10, buy it if you like turning rats into magical smoke.
