OST is lackluster. Got it to sell the Warthog, turned out to be a motherbleeping waste of time and cash.

This is more than just another game soundtrack.
Front Line Assembly was one of my favorite bands when I was in my 20s.
In 1986-2022, the band has released seventeen studio albums, three live albums, numerous singles and compilations, and two video game soundtracks.
Earlier albums had quite a unique feeling. I think Civilization was one of my favorite ones.
And the two video games they've made soundtracks for are AirMech and Quake 3 Arena. Such an honor for AirMech, I would say, to have the same composers as Quake 3 Arena. The Wikipedia says it was only Quake 3 Team Arena, but actually the music in Q3A was made by Sonic Mayhem and Front Line Assembly founder Bill Leeb.
It's very neat to have FLA-themed in-game stuff. Bought the whole AirMech pack because of it.
Although my preferences have changed long ago, and I not really interested both in this music or game genre.
No color on this face of death
No shadow falls on his last breath
What are we fighting for?
No more devotion in his eyes
No longing moments no more goodbyes
What are we fighting for?
Too many lives in one place
Too many souls lay here to waste
What are we fighting for?
Send this signal from above
Is there life?
Is there love?
What do you see?
Is there hope?
Is there air?
No more despair
When will we be free?
Shall no one live for others life
Now dies in front of my own eyes
What are we fighting for?

This is the first soundtrack I've actually purchased, not including things like the grey goo soundtrack which came with an expansion, so while I may not be able to compare it to other soundtracks I still felt that I should give it a good review.
Pros

Comes with some nice ingame content (the warthog skin is one of my new favourite skins).

Great Music.

It's not too pricey.

If you really want to you can sell the ingame content you get for quite a nice amount of diamonds.

Cons

If you're not big on music the only thing you really get out of this is the ingame content.

It does not explain how to access your new songs, I was expecting them to be added to the music section of my steam library when it turns out I had to actually go into Airmechs files to find them.

If you're not a fan of "electronic" music than again all you'll really get out of buying this is the ingame content.

There are not enough reviews of this soundtrack, so I just want to point out how great it is.
Front Line Assembly, one of the juggernauts of the industrial music world, making incredible electronic music since the mid 80s, made this game soundtrack. FLA is the perfect artist for a game like this--their music has been dystopian, futuristic, and atmospheric for decades.
This soundtrack has some things that I've come to associate with FLA's signature sound, which is a huge compliment to it, but it's also unique from FLA's other music. It's a bit more mellow and atmospheric, and obviously it's instrumental, but it doesn't feel like it's lacking anything and I typically love Bill Leeb's vocals.
This album is with my FLA collection, it fits in with it, and I associate these sounds with Airmech in a positive way, and I think that's all that needs to be said.
