Maybe I didn't do enough research before buying but it's absolutely nothing like I expected. Instead of an open world zombie survival game it's much more like a linear story game with a very very small amount of survival mechanics sprinkled in here and there. If you were hoping for something akin to DayZ in VR this is not it

Between stiff combat, poorly implemented "survival" mechanics, nearly painful graphics, and open world mechanics circa gta 3, this game has disappointed on every aspect. Melee combat is more effective than shooting, which is unfortunate because it just means you have to choose between wiggling a stick to hit zombies or emptying a clip into their head to kill one. movement is as stiff as it can be without you being locked in place the entire time, and i think that could be an improvement. Climbing is at least responsive, but you can only climb on pre painted boards. get saints and sinners or arizone sunshine instead. both are much better zombie vr games
