I'm not big on horror/scary games. This game surprised me, though. There is a bit of humor blended in with the suspense and spooky atmosphere. There are lots of cute jokes mixed throughout. As an Indie title, It is pretty well-made. Some of the puzzles and tasks tripped me up but I wasn't looking at the environment well enough. For the price, this is a great game to keep you "on the job."

It's scary without jump scares and gore, but still had fun solving puzzles, even though I was nervous the whole time. Not having a weapon makes it engaging. The Puzzles are hard, like you have to listen to all the npc's and search thoroughly, but I like that, to many small games like this one usually just hand answers to you. it could use a little more direction sometimes. The little characters and dialogue are surprisingly cute and made me laugh. It's a game younger kids could play and be scared, but not be traumatized with gore and violence. 8/10

an absolute delight !! so glad i found this little gem - and you will be, too. this game is genuinely funny. if you like short indie horror games with puzzles and spooks, i recommend it as a welcome reprieve from dry horror stories that simply don't mean anything. this game is still spooky, still has some solid (and well-placed) jump scares, still "gets ya", but it does it without devolving into muddy depression or piles of bodies the way indie horror games too often do. this is a game with a playful sense of humor, very self-aware of its own limitations, and thrives because of them, not in spite of them. suitable for a wide age range, i'd say. it's not every day you get animated VHSes like this, or puppet cop drama on the television. worth noting, but minor spoilers: in my playthrough, the TV didn't play the puppet cop drama correctly initially. i had to save and turn the TV off and on again to trigger it. this puppet cop drama is in the chair delivery room. i don't want to spoil anything further, i just thought i'd mention it, because i'd be very upset if you missed this incredibly charming little sequence. Cat & Drog were top tier. thanks so much for this !! lots to deconstruct here, but i had a blast streaming this, and my viewers really liked to watch it. looking forward to more from these devs. thanks devs !!

Awesome weird little game, with what I can see there are 2 endings. The game is about 2 hours long if you go through the puzzles pretty well but I could see it taking 3 hours if you get stuck a bit. Well above average for an indie game. Lots of fun. Also well worth the low price of $5. The only negatives I can think of: 1. There is one key in a washroom that is really hard to see and find, it kind of blends into the background, 2. The 4 paintings Rune wall puzzle was confusing 8/10

This was kinda fun for an indie horror game. But if you play make sure you do the overtime instead of clocking out, because that's where some of the best parts of the game are at. The puzzles are pretty good, and some of the monsters are interesting. There is some lore if you wanna read the stuff lying around. It could use some polish with some textures and shadows, but otherwise this is an interesting 2 hours to spend on a game. Oh, and there's a puppet show going on in one of the room TVs, and it's kinda awful, but kinda great.

Enjoy and survive your nightshift at the Dark Moon Motel, a very special hotel cause even witches, werewolves, vampires and alien life forms need a place to check in and rest a night! A little indie surprise that kept me well entertained with the correct mix of weirdness, story and puzzles. Thumb up!
