This DLC is fathoms above the main story, Whilst I admire the ambition and experimentation of the main story, even if a lot of it didn't click for me, the DLC executed these elements, along with the continuety of Rapture, much better. The ending of Episode 2 was actually clever, unlike the confusing ending of the main story. this DLC is a near perfect send off imo and I wish more AAA studios make more experimental takes on established IP nowadays.

Hikâye bu kez tamamen Elizabeth’e odaklanıyor ve paralel evrenler, seçimler ve fedakârlık temalarını çok daha karanlık bir noktaya taşıyor. One of the DLC’s greatest strengths is how it fills in the missing pieces leading up to the first BioShock. The fall of Rapture, character motivations, and long-standing narrative gaps are clarified, making Episode Two feel less like a side story and more like an essential chapter of the franchise. Gameplay shifts toward a stealth-focused experience, emphasizing Elizabeth’s vulnerability. While this change may not appeal to all players, it fits the narrative tone well. 7/10 - Retconning Elizabeth into the events of Bioshock 1 feels heavy handed & diminishes the plot of the first game. Despite this, Burial at Sea is still well worth a playthrough, if you don't think too hard about the wonky plot.
