Well, this game is by far one of the best games I've ever bought. First of all, even though it's cute, it's pretty difficult, what makes the game last for a long time. But, because of this, you'll need to be patient. There's a lot of levels to play, with 3 different grades defined by the time you spent to beat the level (blue = normal time; gold = good time; rainbow = excelent time). It may look simple, but it's not. There are some techniques that are necessary to learn in order to beat some levels. Although it's very hard, it's still very fun! And it's not that expensive, what makes it even better. Do you like cuteness? Do you have the money? BUY IT! 100/10

This is a cute, enjoyable and simple puzzle platformer, for the casual. But, this is also, at the same time, a cute, enjoyable and challenging puzzle platformer, for those who want to complete 100% of the game. This might not be for everyone, since it require you to speedrun each level, achieving a certain time to be able to progress and 100% the game. So if you are into this, like me, this is interesting, mostly because there is a lot of actual interesting tricks that you can do to achieve this goal of fully completing the game. This is an hidden gem that a lot of people are missing out, me included until about 2 weeks ago.

Cute little game that has started crashing for me after what seems to be the half-way point. The idea of a momma throwing her little kids around is unusual and entertaining if you're into that sort of thing, and the platforming and control is perfectly acceptable. It's only that Steam repair does nothing in the face of these crashes. They're consistently occurring on the level select screen, and I don't see any way to continue playing as a result. Can't recommend.

Offspring fling is a platformer which has a puzzle elements and a deceptively hidden layer to the gameplay and even though the game is relatively old but still stands up to some of the titles today! The gameplay is one of the most intriguing things i've come across in a game, on the surface you have to collect your offspring and get them to the exit and leave, there are enemies and hazards in the way which all result in the levels being set up into a puzzle platformer style, then there's gold flower times to get to give a speed element to the game, it works great for the surface layer, then comes in the REAL challenge of this game which is the rainbow flower times, they're extremely tight and excruciatingly difficult IL times to beat, there's a replay ghost which is a ninja in each level and those show the dev's route and time for that level, which equates to the rainbow times, now these have some of the most insane tech required to get every extra millisecond to beat them, and i think they're extremely interesting and well done, but sometimes the concept is overcooked, because while i think dev times obviously should be tight, there are a handful of levels which collectively made up for around 50% of my playtime yet are around 2% of the game, i don't mind hard to beat IL times but they needed to be spread across the board a little more imo. The graphics are cutesy and works well for the game, everything is generally appealing to look at although i found the higher graphics level to be a bit much visually, its able to be turned down so i had no issues. The music and sound are mid tier for me, the music i didn't particularly care for, its upbeat but just lacks enough energy to it to be standout, either add more varied music or have the music be higher quality, the SFX are top notch though, everything responds and adds to the flow of the game in accordance to what's happening. There are some things i have to put down about the game however, which are the age and technicalities of it, see i understand this game is OLD and platformers have come a long way since, but the framerate is generally around 50fps and it causes inputs to be eaten sometimes, which in tight IL times gets very frustrating, the game also has terrible controller support and actually crashes the game if you have a controller plugged in, i was able to resolve some of this issue but its generally inconsistent. Overall a very nice overlooked gem from way back, i'd consider it a minorly flawed beauty, if you're looking for a casual beat all level experience it has you covered, and for the more hardcore players, it offers a tight set of dev times to beat, and considering its age i'd say its done a great job of being a well designed interesting experience!

One of the best time-attack/puzzle platformer I've ever played, and a criminally underrated one. It has a beautiful art style. The universe, cutscenes and music are wonderful, and give the game a genuine, cutesy atmosphere which I find really enjoyable. The level design is awesome too. Even among the hidden levels, which are diabolically difficult, none is unreasonably long, which makes the die-and-retry experience a lot less painful and frustrating, while still as rewarding. Finally, you can really play the game two ways. If you don't care about beating the best times on each level, you should find the game quite easy and refreshing, and you can enjoy the various changes of atmosphere as you make your way through the 100 first levels. Hence this game is perfect for kids and people who enjoy themselves some relaxed, casual playtime. Or you can try to beat all the dev times to unlock everything. It's an entirely new experience, and these times are serious. But I can tell you it's definitely worth it in the end, on top of being delightfully challenging. Obviously, a lot of attention was put in every department, and the result is fantastic.

Offspring Fling is secretly two games. The first is the game you are presented with, a very light-hearted and somewhat simplistic puzzle-platformer where you pick up your babies and toss them around to get them to the exit. 100 levels plus a level editor go by relatively quickly. Underneath that is a very technical speedrun game, almost like a classic speedrun game like Super Meat Boy or Dustforce. Lots of minor optimizations and hidden tricks that mean you can do a lot more than you initially thought, and do it much faster. It opens up every level to be re-analyzed again, this time looking for optimal strategies. I recommend this game regardless of which kind of game you prefer.
