I... I just can't enjoy this.
I can't recommend... or not.
Do what you will. Not my cup of tea. Refunded.

I give this a sidethumb. Maybe 6/10. Kind of want to give it a thumbs down.
I really dont like, nor want to support developers that use AI to make games. It makes me question what im paying for and the competency of the dev. Even indies. I dont support this developer or this game and will be leary about any of their future releases.
However, with that being said. The game is decent.
I only encountered a couple bugs, non game breaking.
Pretty active strategies.
Decent upgrades.
It does come off as a phone game with its UI and UX.
But I think peoples biggest complaint would be the game is WAY too grindy at the start. Anything you do feels like a discouragement from progressing further.
I didnt mind the grind personally.
BUT I mostly just turtled on the first map till i got most all of the unlocks. This left very little content for me to be excited about and wound up setting it down and understand why this is a serious issue.
This will likely turn off most players. But with some tweaks and updates this could easily be rectified and the AI art can be replaced. In that case, ill happily support the game and dev.
If you think you might like it, grab a joint, a beer and shut your brain off. Maybe wait for a sale?

bland game that takes away the fun and dynamic tension from the genre of tower defense/footy style games and bogs it down with a tacked on deckbuilding mechanic and glacial pacing. it takes forever to "win" and you will game over a lot.
avoid this/play minion masters if you want pvp instead.

So I really like this game, the concept is awesome. I wish there were more games like this.
The biggest complaint I have for this game amd I could see why someone would bounce off of it is the difficulty.
The difficulty scaling is bad. The game in the easiest difficulty is super super hard (enemies are just damage sponges). This has to do with you having no upgraded cards.
To me it makes no sense why then easiest difficulty is so difficult when each level has 6 difficulty settings. Once you get a good amount of cards the game gets really easy. I feel you should be able to beat the game in the easiest difficulty with no huge investment considering there's so many difficulty settings.
TL:DR game fun, some small bugs/animations, feels good unlocking cards, meta progression. Bad difficulty optimization. Game too hard at start, Game too easy later.
8/10 if you like this genre (want more of these kind of games)

I like the game minus a few concepts such as you can't win until you get better cards. My main issue is the game constantly crashes. Sometimes every other game it crashes. It is starting to be unplayable. I have no issues with other games with 100x better graphics than this. Needs fixed.
