My favorite hero. He's shines best in multiplayer games. His minion units don't conflict with defense units, so when I am the only summoner in my party (and I always am), I get free reign to summon whatever I want without taking my friends' defense units. His pulse heal is extremely useful for emergencies. Having two pets but no weapons makes some very unique gameplay. One of the subtle benefits is since pets get experience from combat, I don't need to spend any mana on upgrading any weapons, allowing me to prioritize mana for my armor upgrades :) In addition to multiplayer convenience, his overlord plane skill makes him convenient for very large maps, as he can heal, sell, and summon remotely. He summons take along time, but he's the only hero I know who can multitask, summoning a monster of a different type while the first monster is still summoning, so if you have a large enough mana pool to handle it, you can efficiently summon up to 6 minions at once depending on the situation. Positioning is convenient too because I can move them for free. It's an extremely satisfying feeling for some boss fights to click "select all minions", and send your entire army to gang up on the boss (not always a wise idea as it leaves my crystals exposed to the other minions, but fun nonetheless). He's an ideal hero who can supplement the other heroes in pretty much any situation because his minions never conflict with the other heroes' defense units.
