Thanks to the Devcats titles ive gotten better at spotting the orange menace of a House Tiger when visiting my brother. That being said, there still is the occasional mauling but at least its no longer a surprise

DevCats has so much love for the hide and seek cat game genre <3 Detailed art and hidden puzzle aspect, the occurrence of their own kitties, and the awesome fact that the money you spend on these great games supports animals in need. Out of all the cat hide and seek games that I play, Devcats makes the best ones that actually feel difficult and have you follow along a little story. It's greaaat!!! I love playing their games :D

I loved this adorable cat-themed puzzle game ♡ The art and music are so cute and the puzzles can be quite challenging, which is great. I bought it on sale and it was well worth the few hours of playtime. It brings me great joy to support animal rescue efforts as well! I have been thinking about adopting another cat in the future, so I think it's working... 😸 This is my second Devcats purchase and I intend to buy another 🐈

I love this publisher (+ developer) and their games - they fill with warmth, peace and comfort.
Plus, every game sold helps real cats and shelters IRL.
The necessity to help homeless animals and shelters is also frequently and actively brought up in the games themselves, but in an unobtrusive and enjoyable way.
I think I want to buy each of their games with all DLC's not just for the truly interesting, kind and love-filled content, but also for the support of their civic stance and the very real help IRL.

Hidden cat metroidvania?! Yeah, somehow it really is. Even the boss fight is still fundamentally cosy hidden object gameplay - this isn't one of those cosy games that loses sight of what it's meant to be. The only thing I'd say is a bit rough in this one is the hint system - you get one hint per room after you find an item, and it can take quite a while to find the upgrade to make it recharge depending on how you choose to play. That's fine for experienced hidden object players, but may be a problem for those new to the genre. It's neat to see that we have more complex games for advanced players, though.
Accessibility notes: Decent zoom function, no edge scrolling, mostly left mouse click only (esc key to open map). Text not strictly necessary. Audio not necessary for gameplay. Option for a larger mouse cursor as well, and there's no fail states. Not sure about colourblind accessibility.
