Tbh didnt have high expectations for this based off first impressions (trailer), but i was pretty surprised. So far ive made it past the first big boss, and stopped at this sort of timed running maze / puzzle. For context (for the people who are here because its a soulslike) ive played most every souls and numerous soulslikes
Its simultaneously very indie project & unpolished-feeling while also providing this niche style of game i feel like i havent played before but is so... gratifying? Refreshing? If i had to compare it to something, itd be old challenging games before any soulslikes, shit like ghosts n goblins (based on the gameplay ive seen of it lol), though definitely unlike that too. Maybe i can compare it to Furi, too? But also not
Theres no blocking, you cant spam dodge, the combat is literally spacing-focused with each of the 3 attacks having consistent use, and im so glad it went this way instead of some copy paste souls formula, this is its own game
And like someone else said, DAMn the critical hits feel good and really define the combat for me (moment where enemy is undefended in the middle of an attack combo theyre trying to hit you with, and if you hit them during this they get thrown into the air slow-mo, your main source of damage)
Combined with the puzzles that are also spacing based you can kind of see the similarities between them and understand the way the creator thinks a bit, which is what i look for in small dev-team games. This is for you if youre looking for a unique indie experience that does its own thing and commits to it

Very interesting game. I have finished it in few days. It is not too easy, but also not frustrating hard. I have not encountered a single bug. Congratulations to developer! HINT + Minor spoiler: In the first boss fight you can roll avoid his electricity attacks. Use both weapons in the final fight. Took mi some time to realize it.

This game is a souls like in a cyberpunk setting. This game was also made by ONE man, so there is only positive things I can say for it. The graphics and mechanics are pretty amazing, though I would've really LOVED a deflect mechanic. I know things like that are coming in the next game, so be sure to support this developer as it mega important and rare to have such developers who care for an actual game today.

i first wanna say this is one of the coolest and best indie games ive played from being so unknown. the game ran great, it looked awesome and the music was so fucking dope. this game is in all around vibe with fun combat, a cool world, fun bosses, different NPC's, and all around good and decently polished for a small game. the puzzles were also unique and very rewarding. i wish the game was longer and if you're looking for a rough playtime estimate, it's probably between 2 hours (if you're very smart and quick to maybe 6 or 7 hours maximum for the end of the game.) i did enjoy this and it's already a good price without it being on sale..but i got it on sale for super cheap and it was so worth it. can't stress how awesome the music was and this game just gave me ghostrunner vibes in a souls form. good job dev and/or devs!!!!

I'm not a typical Souls-like fan, and I don't often play Souls-like games, but this gameplay is incredibly interesting and enjoyable. I really enjoy the story, and the ending is fantastic. I like the combination of different types of combat and challenges. For me, the game is not easy, and I died a lot of times, but it has something that sparks curiosity and urges you to keep playing and see what the next challenge has in store. Although the first level was slightly less interesting for me, I'm glad I didn't give up despite all the deaths, and I'm glad I got to see what awaits in the rest of the game. I greatly respect the person who made this on their own. Well done!

The game is fun. Each area is a unique challenge with many different gimmicks thrown in.
The game alternates between combat and traps that require quick thinking and dodging.
I died a lot when i agrro more than 2 enemies and it almost made me lose my patience in some areas when trying to pull them one by one and then get killed by the last one.
There are a lot of difficult spots, but it gives a great sense of accomplishment after reaching the next checkpoint.
Bosses are a plus, with different phases that are either combat or a puzzle. I liked the ingame music too.
Recommended for players that miss the old times when games were a challenge to be conquered.

In this game you have 1 slashing attack and 1 thrusting attack, a roll with no iframes, and no defensive controls. Yes, enemies will stop your attack chain by blocking, but you cannot block. The only way to meaningfully deal with enemies is to stand just on the edge of their attack reach, take two steps back, and then wait for the lock-on to glow red, at which point hitting them will dramatically send the enemy flying and deal most of their health, if you do it right.
That's pretty much the gameplay.
Details? Everything is obscenely stiff, the limited mechanics crumble in the presence of multiple enemies, healing is limited to more or less a single pickup per segment that gives you a varying amount of charges, enemies hold the items you need to progress so the description suggesting avoiding them is simply a lie, ranged enemies simply continue firing at you while you stand in their face cutting them up, enemy vulnerabilities are often in the middle of a combo and if you don't hit them at the right time you just eat the rest of the attacks, NPC dialogue is immensely drawn out to tell you nothing at all, I honestly can't think of anything to say that's complimentary.
I know I got the game for three dollars and I'd be the first defender of "souls-likes" trying to do something different, but this isn't different, this is just lacking.
Remember: If a game has an extremely limited number of reviews, and most of them have reviewed almost no other games, they probably aren't remotely indicative of the game's actual quality.
It's nothing personal dude. Your game just isn't fun.

From its atmospheric setting to its masterful gameplay, this game pushes the boundaries of the genre and offers a journey like no other. One of the standout features of this game is its exceptional music. From the very first notes, you are transported into a futuristic landscape where pulsating beats and slashing stupid robots with your sword. The combat system strikes a perfect balance between tactical decision-making and crazy and hard action, forcing you to learn from your mistakes (read as you are slices trillion times by enemies) and adapt your approach to overcome those lunatics with swords. The satisfaction of finally killing an enemy and hitting him like a ball all over the map is soooo satisfying. The music acts as a character in itself, guiding your emotions and heightening the intensity of every encounter. I am definitely purchasing music as well it's good for programming :D

For those who do not usually play souls-like games like me.
I watched the developer live-stream the game and played the demo.
I have not finished the game yet, it is very hard, but the challenge is interesting for me. Like I mentioned I usually do not like those kind of games, but the checkpoints are close and you are encouraged to find the right way.
Some funny situations come about from all the dying :D
Maybe I am starting to like souls-like games, I don't know.
I wold say check it out, it is forgiving in the dying compartment, but challenging as well. The bosses are brutal (for me at least). I am having fun.
P.S. The soundtrack is amazing. From the live stream, the developer mentioned he made it himself.
